There are no specifically designated time limits for submitting tenders for simplified and selection procedures, but it is specified that the suppliers shall be afforded a reasonable time. However, the period for submitting requests to participate in the case of a selection procedure may never be less than ten days.
If the tender period is too short, there is a risk of not achieving
the full benefits of competition. If a supplier appeals to a court, the court may decide that the procurement process must be recommenced owing to the tender period being too short.
